A petition in writing signed by a majority of all of the owners of all property abutting upon both sides of street proposed to be vacated has been duly filed with the City Clerk, requesting vacation of the street, and the City Clerk has furnished a copy of said petition to the City Manager who has reported filing of same to the City Council, and the Clerk has published notice in the official City newspaper, the St. Louis Park Sun, on September 8, 1981 as directed by the Council, and the City Council has met at the time and place as published in said notice and has conducted a public hearing upon said peitition and has determined that the street is not needed for public purposes and that it is for the best interest of -the public that said street be vacated. Section 2. The following described street, as now dedicated and - laid out within the corporate limits of the City of St. Louis Park, is Nacated: Vacate West 14th from the extension northerly of the westerly line of Lot 102, Richmond Addition, to the extension northerly of the east line of Lot 15, Richmond except- (west 124.6 feet of the north 30 feet, and the east 114.6 foot vacated by Ordinance No. 896, November 4, 1963) subject to utility easement over the south thirty (30) feet of that part of the street vacated by this ordinance. ,reserving, however, to the City of St. Louis Park any and all easements that may exist in, over, and across the described property for storm sewer, sanitary sewer, water main? and public utility purposes. Section 3. The City Clerk is instructed to record certified copies of this, ordinance in the Office of the Hennepin County Register of Deeds or Registar of Titles as the case may be. Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect fifteen days after its publication.
