ORDINANCE NO. 1506
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE Sr. LOUIS PARK ORDINANCE CODE
RELATING TO ZONING BY AMENDING SECTIONS 14-123.101, 14-156,
14-176, 14-181, AND 14-124(2) RELATIVE TO RESTAURANT
CLASSIFICATIONS
THE CITY OF ST. LOUIS PARK DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That Section 14-123.101 is hereby amended by adding:
Section 14-123.101(f). Restaurant Class Iw: A sit-
down restaruant with on -sale wine but which does not
serve any other form of intoxicating liquor and which
serves food to its customers while seated at tables.
Personalized, printed menus are used, and the food is
served on multiple use utensils. There may be some
take-out service, but the food is not previously
packaged.
Section 2. That Section 14-156 is hereby amended to read:
Section 14-156(17). Restaurant; Class I, I -w, II,
III and IV; except that Class IV shall not be permitted
on premises abutting Minnetonka Boulevard, Louisiana
Avenue, Cedar Lake Road, and Lake Street within 500 feet
of Minnetonka Boulevard and shall not be permitted in all
property in Shelard Park or other planned development
units unless such use is planned as an integral part
of a total planned development and designed for walk-in
patrons rather than auto oriented patrons.
Section 3. That Section 14-176 is hereby amended to read:
Section 14-176(6). Restaurant; Class I, I -w, II, and III
Section 4. That Section 14-181 is hereby amended to read:
Section 14-181(3). Restaurant; Class I, I -w, II, and III
Section 5. That the DDD Guide Plan (as referred to in Section
14-124(2) is hereby amended to read:
Section II, G, 62. Restaurant Class I, I -w, II, III, and IV
Section 6. That this Ordinance shall take effect fifteen days
after its publication.

vice president and general manager of the newspaper know as The St Louis Park Sun and has fu
knowledge of the facts herein stated as follows (1) Said newspaper is printed in the English language
newspaper format and in column and sheet form equivalent in printed space to at least 900 square inche
(2) Said newspaper is a weekly and is distributed at least once every week (3) Said newspaper has 501
of its news columns devoted to news of local interest to the community which it purports to serve and dol
not wholly duplicate any other publication and is not made up entirely of patents, plate matter al
advertisement (4) Said newspaper is circulated in and near the municipalities which it purports
serve, has at least 500 copies regularly delivered to paying subscribers, has an average of at least 75
of its total circulation currently paid or no more than three months in arrears and has entry as secori
class matter in its local post -office (5) Said newspaper purports to serve the City of St Louis Pat
Golden Valley School District No 275 and Robbinsdale School District No 281 in the County of HenneE
and it has its known office of issue in the City of Hopkins in said county, established and open during'
regular business hours for the gathering of news, sale of advertisements and sale of subscriptions a
maintained by the managing officer of said newspaper or persons in its employ and subject to
direction and control during all such regular business hours and devoted exclusively during such regu
business hours and at which said newspaper is printed (6) Said newspaper files a copy of each is!
immediately with the State Historical Society (7) Said newspaper is made available at single)
subscription prices to any person, corporation, partnership or other unincorporated associat
requesting the newspaper and making the applicable payment (8) Said newspaper has complied with1aii
foregoing conditions for at least one year preceding the day or dates of publication mentioned below (9)
Said newspaper has filed with the Secretary of State of Minnesota prior to January 1, 1966 and each
January 1 thereafter and affidavit in the form prescribed by the Secretary of State and signed by the
managing officer of said newspaper and sworn to before a notary public stating that the newspaper is a
legal newspaper
He further states on oath that the printed Ordinance No. 1506
hereto attached as a part hereof was cut from the columns of said newspaper, and was printed
and published therein in the English language, once each week, for_Onesuccessive weeks,
that it was first so published on Wed the 13 day of May 19 81
and was thereafter printed and published on every to and including
the day of 19 and that the following is a printed copy
of the lower case alphabet from A to Z, both inclusive, and is hereby acknowledged as being the size and
