LOUIS PARK ORDINANCE CODE RELATING TO ZONING BY AMENDING SECTIONS 14-156(2), 14-141(3), 14-145(3), 14-150(2)(ggg), 14-155(3)(f), and 14-156(2) TO DELETE THE WORDING "AND OTHER SIMILAR USES", "A SIr1ILAR OPERATING NATURE" AND "AND SIMILAR USES" THE CITY OF ST. LOUIS PARK DOES ORDAIN: Section 1. The St. Louis Park Ordinance Code, Section 14-136(2) is % hereby amended to read: (2) Nursing homes, rest homes, and old people's homes, provided the,site shall contain not less than six hundred (600) square feet of lot area for each person to be accommodated, hospitals for human care, sanitariums, provided all structures for uses described in this Section shall be located not less than thirty'(30) feet from a lot line of an abutting lot in an "R" District. Section 2. Section 14-141(3) is hereby amended to read: (3) Nursing homes, rest homes, and old people's homes, provided the site shall contain not less than five hundred (500) square feet of lot area for each person to be accommodated, hospitals for human care, sanitariums, provided all structures for uses described in this section shall be located not less than twenty-five (25) feet from a lot line of an abutting lot in an "R" District. Section 3. Section 14-145(3) is hereby amended to read: (3) Nursing homes, rest homes or old people's homes, provided the site shall not contain less than four hundred .000) square feet of lot area for each person to be accommodated, hospitals for human care and sanitariums. Section 4. Section 14-150(2)(ggg) is hereby amended to read: (ggg) Variety store and 5 and 10 cent store. Section 5. Section 14-155(3)(f) is hereby amended to read: (f) Bowling alleys, billiard and pool rooms, skating rinks, dance halls, gymnasiums, YMCA, YWCA, meeting halls, on - sale liquor stores, and fraternal organizations, provided the structure in which the use is conducted shall not be located within sixty (60) feet of any "R-1", "R-2", or "R-3" : i s tri ct boundary line. Section 6. Section 14-156(2) is hereby amended to read: (2) Commercial baseball fields, bath houses, boat houses, golf driving ranges, and miniature golf courses. All such permits shall be granted only upon the following condi- ti (a) A fence of acceptable design not over six (6) feet in height or under four (4) feet which is at least Fifty Per Cent (50%) closed shall be constructed along the property_ line when said use abuts property residentially used or in one of the "R" Use Districts; said fence shall be adequately maintained. Application of this provision shall not require a fence within the required front yard. (b) The entire site other than that taken up by a structure or planting shall be surfaced with a material to control dust and drainage. (c) A drainage system subject to the approval of the City Engineer shall be installed. Section 7. This ordinance shall take effect fifteen days after its publication.
