HomeMy WebLinkAbout1486 - ADMIN Ordinance - City Council - 1980/11/171 RE PLA CEMENT ORDINANCE NO. 1486 AN ORDINANCE VACATING PORTION OF STREET THE CITY OF ST. LOUIS PARK DOES ORDAIN: Section 1. A petition in writing signed by a majority of all of the owners of all property abutting upon both sides of the street pro- posed to be vacated has been duly filed with the City Clerk, requesting vacation of the street, and the City Clerk has furnished a copy of said petition to the City Manager who has reported filing of same to the City Council, and the Clerk has published notice in the official City news- paper, the St. Louis Park Sun, on October 22, 1980 as directed by the Council, and the City Council has met at the time and place as published in said notice and has conducted a public hearing upon said petition and has determined that the street is not needed for public purposes, and that it is for the best interest of the public that said street be vacated. Section 2. The following described street, as now dedicated and laid out within the corporate limits of the City of St. Louis Park, is vacated: That part of Oak Park Village Drive lying southwesterly of the continuation southeasterly of that part of the northeasterly line of Lot 1, Block 1, Oak Park Village, having a radius of 150 feet and a length of 53.32 feet. Section 3. The City Clerk is instructed to prepare a Notice of Completion containing a copy of this ordinance and to file the Notice in the Office of the Register of Deeds or Registrar of Titles, in and for the County of Hennepin, Minnesota, as the case may be. Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect fifteen days after its publication.
