ORDINANCE NO. 1469
AN ORDINANCE VACATING PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT
THE CITY OF ST. LOUIS PARK DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. A petition in writing signed by a majority of all of the
owners of all property abutting upon both sides'of the public utility
easement proposed to be vacated has been duly filed with the City Clerk,
requesting vacation of the public utility easement, and the City Clerk has
furnished a copy of said petition to the City Manager who has reported
filing of same to the City Council, and -the Clerk has published notice in
the official City newspaper, the St. Louis Park Sun, on May 29, 1980 as
directed by the Council, and 'the City Council has met at the time and place
as published in said notice and has conducted a public hearing upon said
petition and has determined that the public utility easement is not needed
for public purposes, and that it is for the best interest of the public that
said public utility easement be vacated.
Section 2. The following described public utility easement as now
dedicated and laid out with the corporate limits of the City of St. Louis
Park, is vacated:
An easement for sanitary sewer purposes in and over a 20 -foot
strip lying 10 feet on each side of a line described as
commencing at the Northwest corner of Lot 1, Block 3, Oak Park
Village, thence on an assumed bearing of South a distance of
527.63 feet along the Westerly line, thence on a curve to the
left with a radius of 150 feet a distance of 20.5 feet to the
point of beginning, thence North 55 degrees East a distance of
50 feet and there termination.
An easement for drainage and storm sewer in and over a 20 foot
wide strip lying 10 feet on each side of a line described as
commencing at the Northwest corner of Lot 1, Block 3, Oak Park
Village, thence on an assumed bearing of South 474.63 feet along
the Westerly line to the point of beginning, thence deflecting
to the left at an angle of 91 degrees 30 feet a distance of 113
feet and there terminating.
Section 3. The City Clerk is instructed to prepare a Notice of Completion
containing a copy of this ordinance and to file the Notice in the Office of
the Register of Deeds or Registrar of Titles, in and for the County of Hennepin,
Minnesota, as the case may be.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect fifteen days after its
publication.

vice president and general manager of the newspaper know as The St Louis Park Sun and has fu
knowledge of the facts herein stated as follows (1) Said newspaper is printed in the English language
newspaper format and in column and sheet form equivalent in printed space to at least 900 square inche
(2) Said newspaper is a weekly and is distributed at least once every week (3) Said newspaper has 50,
of its news columns devoted to news of local interest to the community which it purports to serve and dos
not wholly duplicate any other publication and is not made up entirely of patents, plate matter an
advertisement (4) Said newspaper is circulated in and near the municipalities which it purports I
serve, has at least 500 copies regularly delivered to paying subscribers, has an average of at (east 75!
of its total circulation currently paid or no more than three months in arrears and has entry as seconc
class matter in its local post -office (5) Said newspaper purports to serve the City of St Louis Parl
Golden Valley School District No 275 and Robbinsdale School District No 281 in the County of Hennep
and it has its known office of issue in the City of Hopkins in said county, established and open during i
regular business hours for the gathering of news, sale of advertisements and sale of subscriptions an
maintained by the managing officer of said newspaper or persons in its employ and subject to h
direction and control during all such regular business hours and devoted exclusively during such regulz
business hours and at which said newspaper is printed (6) Said newspaper files a copy of each isst
immediately with the State Historical Society (7) Said newspaper is made available at single
subscription prices to any person, corporation, partnership or other unincorporated associatic
requesting the newspaper and making the applicable payment (8) Said newspaper has complied with a
foregoing conditions for at least one year preceding the day or dates of publication mentioned below
Said newspaper has filed with the Secretary of State of Minnesota prior to January 1, 1966 and ea
January 1 thereafter and affidavit in the form prescribed by the Secretary of State and signed by tl
managing officer of said newspaper and sworn to before a notary public stating that the newspaper is
legal newspaper
He further states on oath that the printed Ordinance No. 1469
hereto attached as a part hereof was cut from the columns of said newspaper, and was printed
and published therein in the English language, once each week, for OTTP successive weeks,
that it was first so published on Wed the
16 day of July 19 80
and was thereafter printed and published on every to and including
the day of 19 and that the following is a printed copy
of the lower case alphabet from A to Z, both inclusive, and is hereby acknowledged as being the size and
kind of type used in the composition and publication of said notice, to wit
