ORDINANCE NO. 1468
AN ORDINANCE VACATING PUBLIC STREET
THE CITY OF ST. LOUIS PARK DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. A petition in writing signed by a majority of all of the
owners of all property abutting upon both. sides of the public street
proposed to be vacated has been duly filed with the City Clerk, requesting
vacation of the public street, and the City Clerk has furnished a copy of
said petition to the City Manager who has reported filing of same to the
City Council, and the Clerk has published notice in the official City
newspaper, the St. Louis Park Sun, on May 28, 1980 as directed by the
Council, and the City Council has met at the time and place as published in
said notice and has conducted a public hearing upon said petition and has
determined that the public street is not needed for public purposes, and
that it is for the best interest of the public that said public street be
vacated.
Section 2. The following described public street, as now dedicated and
laid out within the corporate limits of the City of St. Louis Park, is vacated:
Monterey Avenue, south from Highway 7 south service ;
road 227.58 feet to end of Avenue
reserving, however, to the City of St. Louis Park any and all easements that
may exist in, over, and across the described property for storm sewer, sanitary l�
sewer, water main, and public utility purposes.
Section 3. The City Clerk is instructed to prepare a Notice of Completion
containing a copy of this ordinance and to file the Notice in the Office of the
Register of Deeds or Registrar of Titles, in and for the County of Hennepin,
Minnesota, as the case may be.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect fifteen days after its
publication.

lying southerly of State Highway No. 7, and the 15 foot
strip of land east of and adjacent to said Oakenwald
Avenue as plated in the plat of"Oakenwald Addition St.
Louis Park."
reserving, however, to the City of St. Louis Park an easement (utility) in,
over, and across the described property for storm sewer, sanitary sewer,
water main, and public utility purposes.
Section 3. The City Clerk is instructed to prepare a Notice of
Completion containing a copy of this ordinance and to file the Notice in

the County of Hennepin, Minnesota, as the case may be.
