HomeMy WebLinkAbout1437 - ADMIN Ordinance - City Council - 1979/02/20ORDINANCE NO. 1437 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ST. LOUIS PARK ORDINANCE CODE RELATING TO ZONING BY AMENDING SECTION 14-124.101 PERTAINING TO THE PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT. THE CITY OF ST. LOUIS PARK DOES ORDAIN: Sec. 1. That Section 14-124.101 is hereby amended by adding Section 14-124.101(3) to read: (d) Documents providing for the recording or showing of individual properties to be recorded as well as common property, covenants, home owners association provisions and the like. (e) A landscape plan showing proposed landscape improvements by size, type and species and location. (f) Plans for circulation of cars, pedestrians, and mass transit, including transit plazas and shelters, and associated facilities where appropriate. Interim uses of lands and buildings will be considered where permanent uses and buildings are not feasible. Such interim use shall be consistent with the approved General PUD plans to the extent possible, and the duration of such interim use shall be 5 years or less. (Sec. 14-124.101 Added by Ordinance 1257, March 18, 1974) 14-124.101 (3) Non -Conforming Uses in P.U.D. District Land uses and structures in existence on a parcel prior to the classification of the parcel to P.U.D. shall be non- conforming uses until such time as a special permit is granted in accordance with the requirements of the district and development objectives of the Final General P.U.D. Plan. (g) Non -conforming uses shall be regulated in accordance with Section 14-106 of the Zoning Ordinance and in addition: (a) Non -conforming structures, uses and building sites which have not conformed to Section 14-187(3)(j) of the Zoning Ordinance shall be brought into conformance based on the requirements of Zoning District classification in which the site was located immediately prior to the establishment of the P.U.D. District. (b) Non -conforming signs located within a P.U.D. District shall be regulated in accordance with Section 14-187 of the Zoning Ordinance. Sec. 2. Penalty. Any person violating the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdeameanor and upon conviction, shall be punished by a fine of not more than $500 or by imprisonment for a period of not to exceed 90 days or both. Sec. 3. Effective Date. This ordinance shall take effect 15 days after its publication. Adopted by the Cit Council February 20, 1979.
