LOUIS PARK ORDINANCE CODE RELATING TO ZONING BY AMENDING SECTIONS 14-133(6), 14-128(6), and 14-138(7) THE CITY COUNCIL OF ST. LOUIS PARK DOES ORDAIN: Sec. 1. The St. Louis Park Ordinance Code, Sections 14-133(6), 14-128(6), and 14-138(7), is amended to read: 1 1 1 (5) The following minimum requirements shall be observed subject to the additional requirements, exceptions and modifications as set forth in Section 14-198. Height 1 story Lot Area 7,200 square feet 2 & 3 stories 7,200 square feet Front Yard Depth Side Yard Widths 30 feet 30 feet Lot Width 60 feet 60 feet Rear Yard Depth 9 feet on one yard, 25 feet and 6 feet on other yard, except when there is an attached garage or when lot abuts an alley both may be 6 feet 9 feet on one yard, 25 feet and 11 feet on other yard, except when there is an attached garage or when lot abuts an alley both may be 9 feet (6) A single family house which legally existed or for which a valid building permit had been granted on or before December 28, 1959, may be expanded by an addition or dormer, provided the addition does not extend beyond the existing side yard setback line, and provided the combined width of the side yard for said building and adjacent building thereto is not less than 10 feet. (Sec. 14-128(6) Amended by Ord. 1338, June 21, 1976) November 1, 1976 (6) Each lot shall contain at least four hundred (400) square feet of usable open space for each dwelling unit'contained thereon. Each lot shall contain one hundred and fifty (150) square feet of usable open space for each person accommodated in group living quarters. (7) A single family house which legally existed or for which a valid building permit had been granted on or before December 28, 1959, may be expanded by an addition or dormer, provided the addition does not extend beyond the existing side yard setback line, and provided the combined width of the side yard for said building and adjacent building thereto is not less than 10 feet. Any person violating the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction, shall be punished by a fine of not more than $500 or by imprisonment for a period not to exceed 90 days or both. Sec. 3. Effective Date. This ordinance shall take effect 15 days after its publication.
