LOUIS PARK DOES ORDAIN: Section 1. It is hereby determined that a petition in writing signed by a majority of all of the owners of all property abutting upon both sides of the roadway and utility easements proposed to be vacated has been duly filed with the City Cler, requesting vacation of the easements, and the City Clerk has furnished a copy of said petition to the City Manager who has reported filing of same to the City Council, and the Clerk has published notice in the official city newspaper, The St. Louis Park Sun, on March 3, 1976, as directed by the Council, and the City Council has met at the time and place as published in said notice and has conducted a public hearing on said petition and hereby determines that the easements are not needed for public purposes, and that it is for the best interests of the public that said easements be vacated as petitioned and as determined to be appropriate by the City. Section 2. The following described easements as now dedicated within the corporate limits of the City of St. Louis Park, are vacated: Utility, access, and roadway easements in that portion of Tract E, RLS No. 153, lying west of the east line of Tract C, RLS No. 153; roadway easements over the south 5 feet of the north 55 feet of the east 150 feet of the south 1/2 of Lot 10, Block 2, Fern Hill,and roadway ease- ments over that part of Tract E, RLS No. 153, lying east of the east line of Tract C, RLS No. 153; reserving, however, to the City of St. Louis Park all utility easements over that portion of Tract E, RLS No. 153, lying east of the east line of Tract C, RLS No. 153. Section 3. The City Clerk is instructed to prepare a Notice of Completion containing a copy of this ordinance and to file the Notice in the Office of the Register of Deeds or Registrar of Titles, in and for the County of Hennepin. Section 4. This ordinance shall to effect fifteen days after its publication.
