LOUIS PARK ORDINANCE CODE, SECTION 12-803 THE ST. LOUIS PARK CITY COUNCIL ORDAINS: Section 1. The St. Louis Park Ordinance Code, Section 12-803, is amended to read: Section 12-803. Sale and Possession of Barbiturates and Other Prohibited Drugs. (1) Definitions. (a) Prohibited Drug. As used herein the term "prohibited drug" means: (i) Barbital and any derivative thereof; including but not limited to the following: deithylbarbi- turic acide; andy alkyl; aryl, metallic or halo- genated derivative or barbituric acid; veronal (barbitone); proponal; ipral; dial; neonal (soneryl); sandoptal; amytal; phenobarbital (luminal); phandorn; noctal; allonal (which contains allylisoprophylbarbituric acid in combination with amidopyrine) medianl; any preparation, mixture or other substance con- taining any of the foregoing substances. (ii) Amphetamine and any derivatives thereof in- cluding but not limited to such substances as follows: desoxyephedrine (methamphetamine) mephentermine, pipradol, phenmetrazine, methylphenidate or any salt mixture or optical isomer thereof which salt mixture optical isomer has a stimulating effect on the central nervous system. (iii) Marijuana including all parts of the plant Cannabis Sativa L., including all agronomical varieties, whether growing or not; the seeds thereof, the resin extracted from any part of such plant; and every compound, manufac- ture, salt derivative, mixture or preparation of such plant, its seeds or resin. i r (iv) Any material, compound, mixture, or prepara- tion which contains any quantity of the fol- lowing substances having a potential for abuse associated with a depressant effect on the central nervous system: Any sub- stance which contains any quantity of a derivative or barbituric acid, or any salt of a derivative of barbituric acid, except those substances which are specifically listed in other schedules: Chlorhexadol; Lysergic acid; Lysergic acid amide; meth- prylon; phencyclidine; sulfondiethylmethan; Sul fonethylmethane; Sulfonmethane. (v) Chloral Hydrate (Chloral); Chlordiazepoxide and its salts (Librium); Diazepam (Valium); Ethchlorvynol (Placidyl); Ethinamate (Vlamid); Glutethimide (Doriden); Meprobamate (Miltown, Equanil, Meporspan, Meprotabs); Methyprylon (Noludar); Paraldehyde; Methohexital; Petri- , chloral; Nalorphine; Methyphenobarbital. (vi) Any preparation, mixture or other substance containing any of the foregoing substances. Sec. 2. Penalty. Any person who violates this ordinance is guilty of a misdemeanor and may be punished by a fine of not to exceed $300.00 or by imprisonment for not to exceed 90 days, or both. Sec. 3. Effective Date. This ordinance shall take effect fif- teen (15) days after its publication. Adopted by the City Council on December 6, 1976. LIQ?
