LOUIS PARK ZONING ORDINANCE" BY AMENDING SECTION 6:045, REQUIRED YARDS AND OPEN SPACE, BY AMENDING SECTION 6:045.2, Subd. 1 and Subd. 3 The City of St. Louis Park does ordain: Sec. 1. Ordinance No. 730 is hereby amended by amending Section 6:045.2, Subd. 1 and Subd. 3: Section 6:045.2. The following shall not be encroachments on yard setback requirements: Subd. 1. Bays not to exceed a depth of two (2) feet nor to contain an area of more than twenty (20) square feet. Awnings, door hoods, chimneys, flues, belt courses, leaders, sills, pilasters, lintels, ornamental features, cornices, eaves, gutters and the like, provided they do not extend more than three (3) feet into a yard, provided such encroachment is no closer than four (4) feet from all lot lines. Yard lights and the nameplate signs for one and two family dwellings in the R-1, R-2 and R-3 Districts, Floodlights or other sources of light illuminating authorized illuminated signs, or illuminating parking areas, loading areas, or yards for safety and security purposes, provided the direct source of light is not visible from the public right of way or adjacent residential property. In front yards, awnings and door hoods may encroach five (5) feet. Subd. 3. In side or rear yards only: fire escapes not to exceed a width of three (3) feet; off-street parking in the R-1, R-2 and R-3 Use Districts; railroad spurs and sidings for loading and unloading of railroad cars in the I-1 and I-2 Districts. Sec. 2. This ordinance shall take effect fifteen days after its publication. Adopted by the City Council ; gust 2, 1976.
