HomeMy WebLinkAbout1325 - ADMIN Ordinance - City Council - 1976/03/01• ORIGINAL FEBRUARY 17, 1976 ORDINANCE NO. 1 3 ti AN ORDINANCE VACATING STREET THE CITY OF ST. LOUIS PARK DOES ORDAIN: Section 1. It is hereby determined that a petition in writing signed by a majority of all of the owners of all property abutting upon both sides of the street proposed to be vacated has been duly filed with the City Clerk, requesting vacation of the street, and the City Clerk has furnished a copy of said petition to the City Manager who has reported filing of same to the City Council, and the Clerk has published notice in the official city newspaper, the St. Louis Park Sun on February 4, 1976, as directed by the Council, and the City Council has met at the time and place as published in said notice and has conducted a public hearing on said petition and hereby determines that the street is not needed for public purposes, and that it is for the best interests of the public that said street be vacated as petitioned. Section 2. The following described length of street as now dedicated and laid out within the corporate limits of the City of St. Louis Park, is vacated: that portion of Meadowbrook Road lying adjacent to Lots 1, 2, and 3, Block 1, Carlson's Creekside Addition and Lot 7, Block 1, Park Industrial Addition; reserving, however, to the City of Si: Louis Park any and all easements that may exist in, over, and across all but the north 20 feet of the described property for storm sewer, sanitary sewer, water main, and public utility purposes. Section 3. The City Clerk is instructed to prepare a Notice of Completion containing a copy of this ordinance and to file_the Notice in the Office of the Register of Deeds or Registrar of Titles, in and for the County of Hennepin, Minnesota, as the case may be.
