LOUIS PARK ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 730 BY AMENDING SECTION 6:032.6 AND SECTION 6:172.4, SUBD. 27; AND BY ADDING SECTION 6:122.18 THE CITY OF ST. LOUIS PARK DOES ORDAIN: Sec. 1. Ordinance No. 730, Section 6:032.6, is amended to read: Section 6:032.6. Automobile Repair, Minor, or Automotive Service Center. A facility for the sale, service and repair or replacement of any one or more of the following: tires, batteries, brakes, transmissions, shock absorbers, exhaust systems, and similar parts, including engine tune up, wheel balancing and align- ment, but not including body repair, painting, engine rebuilding, or tire capping, and subject to the following conditions: 1. All work, servicing, and repair shall take place within a totally enclosed building. 2. There shall be no outside storage or display of goods, equipment or trash. 3. All lights on the site must be directed away from any residential property. 4. No vehicle shall be stored or continuously parked on the site for more than 60 hours. 5. All refuse shall be stored in a totally enclosed refuse room in the principal building which shall be protected with an automatic fire suppression device. 6. All building faces must meet the Architectural Control Ordinance. Sec. 2. Ordinance No. 730, Section 6:122, is amended by adding Section 6:122.18 to read: Section 6:122.18. Automobile Repair -Minor or Automotive Service Center. Sec. 3. Ordinance No. 730, Section 6:172.4, Number of Required Off - Street Parking Spaces, Subd. 27, is amended to read: Subd. 27. Auto Repair Minor, Auto Repair Major, Automotive Service Center, Bus Terminal, Taxi Terminal, Boats, and Marine Sales and Repair, Bottling Company, Shop for a Trade employing six (6) or less people, Garden Supply Store, Building Material Sales in Structure. At least eight (8) parking spaces, plus one (1) additional space for each eight hundred (800) square feet or fraction thereof of floor area in excess of one thousand (1,000) square feet. Sec. 4. This ordinance shall take effect fifteen days after its publication.
