AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFERS OF FUNDS
AND PROVIDING APPROPRIATIONS FOR SALARY ADJUST-
MENTS AND CLOTHING ALLOWANCES FOR YEAR ENDING
DLCEMBER 31, 1974
THE CITY OF ST. LOUIS PARK DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That the sum of $125,000 be transferred from the Emergency
Appropriation of the General Fund, account 101-4975-1349 and the sum of
$6,673 be transferred from the Fund Balance of the General Fund,
account 101-260 to the following accounts in the General Fund, to provide
appropriations for salary adjustments and clothing allowances for
fiscal year 1974:

Section 2. That the sum of $516 be appropriated from the Fund Balance of
the Civil Defense Fund, account 201-260 to the following account for
salary adjustments for fiscal year 1974:

Section 3. That the estimated revenue of the Park Fund, account 207-3911
"Transfer from Other Funds" be re -estimated in the additional amount of
$2,307 resulting from "transfer" in Section 1, and that said sum be
appropriated from the Fund Balance of the Park Fund account 207-260 to
the fo]bwing account for salary adjustments for fiscal year 1974.

Section 4. That the estimated revenue of the Recreation Fund, account 211-
3911 "Transfer from Other Funds" be re -estimated in the additional amount
of $3,979 resulting from "transfer" in Section 1, and that said sum be
appropriated from the Fund Balance of the Recreation Fund, account 211-260
to the following account for salary adjustments for fiscal year 1974:

Section 5. That the estimated revenue of the Print Shop and Stores Fund,
account 605-3811 "Reimbursement from Other Funds" be re -estimated in the
additional amount of $764 and that said sum be appropriated from the
Retained Earnings of the Print Shop and Stores Fund, account 605-266,
to the following account for salary adjustments for fiscal year 1974:

Section 6. That the sum of $2,889 be appropriated from the Retained
Earnings of the Water Utility Fund, account 701-266, to the following
accounts for salary adjustments for fiscal year 1974:

Section 7. That the sum of $2,030 be appropriated from the Retained
Earnings of the Sanitary Sewer Utility Fund, account 703-266 to the
following account for salary adjustments for fiscal year 1974:

Section 8. That the sum of $3,068 be appropriated from the Retained
Earnings of the Recreation Center Fund, account 707-266 to the following
account for salary adjustments for fiscal year 1974:

Section 9. That the City Manager be directed to cause the appropriate
accounting entries to be made in the books and records of the City.
Section 10. This ordinance shall take effect January 1, 1974.

been the vice president and printer of the newspaper known as The St Louis Park Sun and
has full knowledge of the facts herein stated as follows (1) Said newspaper is pnnted in the
English language in newspaper format and in column and sheet form equivalent in printed
space to at least 900 square inches (2) Said newspaper is a weekly and is distributed at least
/ce each week (3) Said newspaper has 50% of its news columns devoted to news of local
terest to the community which it purports to serve and does not wholly duplicate any other
blication and is not made up entirely of patents, plate matter and advertisements (4) Said
newspaper is circulated in and near the municipality which it purports to serve, has at least
500 copies regularly delivered to paying subscribers, has an average of at least 75% of its total
circulation currently paid or no more than three months in arrears and has entry as second-class
matter m its local post -office (5) Said newspaper purports to serve the City of St Louis Park
in the County of Hennepin and it has its known office of issue in the City of Bloomington in
said county, established and open during its regular business hours for the gathering of news,
sale of advertisements and sale of subscriptions and maintained by the managing officer or
persons in its employ and subject to his direction and control during all such regular business
hours and devoted exclusively dunng such regular business hours to the business of the news-
paper and business related thereto (6) Said newspaper files a copy of each issue immediately
with the State Historical Society (7) Said newspaper has complied with all the foregoing
conditions for at least two years preceding the day or dates of publication mentioned below
(8) Said newspaper has filed with the Secretary of State of Minnesota prior to January 1, 1966
and each January 1 thereafter an affidavit m the form prescribed by the Secretary of State
and signed by the publisher of said newspaper and sworn to before a notary public stating that
the newspaper is a legal newspaper
He further states on oath that the printed Ordinance No. 1255
hereto attached as a part hereof was cut from the columns of said newspaper, and was printed
and published therein m the English language, once each week, for One anccessive weeks;
that it was first so published on Thurs the 7 day of February 19 74

the day of 19 and that the following is a printed copy
of the lower case alphabet from A to Z, both inclusive, and is hereby acknowledged as being
