AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1248 ADOPTED OCTOBER 15, 1973 AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 1251 ADOPTED NOVEMBER 19, 1973 THE CITY OF ST. LOUIS PARK DOES ORDAIN: Section 1. The City Council hereby declares that the emergency hereinafter defined exists and that an emergency ordinance is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, morals, safety or welfare in accordance with Sections 3.05, 3.06 and 3.08 of the Charter of the City of St. Louis Park. Section 2. That Section 2 of Ordinance No. 1248 adopted October 15, 1973 is hereby amended to add the following: Section 1:308 (A) (1) Basic Tables of Numbered Pay Ranges. Each numbered pay range in the basic tables consists of a minimum and maximum bi-weekly rate with intermediate pay steps at approximately five per cent (5%) intervals. That Ordinance No. 1'151 adopted Novembcr 19, 1973 is hereby repealed. Section 4. The City Council hereby declares that an emergency exists in connection with said compensation plan, justifying and requiring that .this ordinance upon its passage on the date hereof shall become effective immediately without publication.
