LOUIS PARK DOES ORDAIN: Section 1. It is hereby determined that a petition in writing signed by a majority of all of the owners of all property abutting upon both sides of the alley proposed to be vacated, has been duly filed with the City Clerk, requesting vacation of the alley, and the City Clerk has furnished a copy of said petition to the City Manager who has reported filing of same to the City Council, and the Clerk has published notice in the official city newspaper, the St. Louis Park Sun on September 6, 1973 as directed by the Council and the City Council has met at the time and place as published in said notice and has conducted a public hearing on said petition and hereby determines that the alley is not needed for public purposes, and that it is for the best interests of the public that said alley be vacated as petitioned. Section 2. The following described length of alley, as now dedicated and laid out within the corporate limits of the City of St. Louis Park, is vacated: Entire length of alley, Block 2, Mazey and Langan's Addition to St. Louis Park lying northerly of State Highway 7 :.:,serving, however, to the City of St. Louis Park any and all easements that may exist in, over, and across the described property for storm sewer, sanitary sewer, water main, and public utility purposes. Section 3. The City Clerk is instructed to prepare a Notice of Completion containing a copy of this ordinance and to file the Notice in the Office of the Register of Deeds or Registrar of Titles, in and for the County of Hennepin, Minnesota, as the case may be. Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect fifteen days after its publication.
