AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 730
PASSED DECEMBER 23, 1959, ENTITLED "ST.
LOUIS PARK ZONING ORDINANCE" SECTION
6:045.2, SUBDIVISION 2 RELATING TO
HEIGHTS OF FENCES AND OTHER STRUCTURES
THE CITY OF ST. LOUIS PARK DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That Section 6:045.2, Subdivision 2 of Ordinance
No. 730, passed December 23, 1959, entitled "St. Louis Pari: Zoning
Ordinance' is hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 6:045.2, Subdivision 2. Fences which do not
exceed three and one-half (3-1/2) feet in height,
except that no -visual obstruction of any kind shall
be higher than 30 inches or lower than five feet
above the centerline of the adjacent street when
located within a triangle formed by two intersecting
streets and extending 30 feet from the intersecting
street centerline. Terraces, steps, uncovered porches,
stoops or similar structures, which do not extend more
than two and one-half (2-1 2) feet above the height
of the ground floor level of the principal building
and do not extend to a distance less than two (2)
feet from any lot line. Flag poles, bird baths,
and other ornamental features detached from the
principal building. Railroad feeder tracks which
provide access but from which loading or unloading
are not conducted and railroad cars are not allowed
to stand for any purpose.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect fifteen days
after its publication.

J R RITCHAY, being duly sworn, on oath says he is and during all times here stated has
been the vice president and printer of the newspaper known as The St Louis Park Sun and
has full knowledge of the facts herein stated as follows (1) Said newspaper is printed in the
English language in newspaper format and in column and sheet form equivalent in printed
space to at least 900 square inches (2) Said newspaper is a weekly and is distributed at least
once each week (3) Said newspaper has 50% of its news columns devoted to news of local
interest to the community which it purports to serve and does not wholly , duplicate any other
blication and is not made up entirely of patents, plate matter and advertisements (4) Said
spaper is circulated in and near the municipality which it purports to serve, has at least
copies regularly delivered to paying subscribers, has an average of at least 75% of its total
circulation currently paid or no more than three months in arrears and has entry as second-class
cAn.matter m its local post -office (5) Said newspaper purports to serve the City of St Louis Park
the County of Hennepin and it has its known office of issue in the City of Bloomington in
aid county, established and open during its regular business hours for the gathering of news,
sale of advertisements and sale of subscriptions and maintained by the managing officer or
persons in its employ and subject to his direction and control during all such regular business
hours and devoted exclusively during such regular business hours to the busmess of the news-
paper and business related thereto (6) Said newspaper files a copy of each issue immediately
with the State Historical Society. (7) Said newspaper has complied with all the foregoing
conditions for at least two years preceding the day or dates of publication mentioned below
(8) Said newspaper has filed with the Secretary of State of Minnesota prior to January 1, 1966
and each January 1 thereafter an affidavit in the form prescribed by the Secretary of State
and signed by the publisher of said newspaper and sworn to before a notary public stating that
the newspaper is a legal newspaper
He further states on oath that the printed Ordi nancA Nn. 1923
hereto attached as a part hereof was cut from the columns of said newspaper, and was printed
and published therein in the English language, once each week, for one successive weeks;
that it was first so published on Thura the 31

Zoning Ordinance' is hereby amended to
read as follows
