HomeMy WebLinkAbout1099 - ADMIN Ordinance - City Council - 1970/01/05..- e e • le Original JAS' 5 1970 ORDINANCE NO. 1 0 9 9 AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING THE AFFIXING OF A TAG OR OTHER LICENSE INSIGNIA TO FOOD AND CIGARETTE VENDING MACHINES, PINBALL MACHINES, CHILDRENST AND MECHANICAL DEVICES AND OTHER AMUSEMENT DEVICES, AMENDING SECTION 2:11 SUBDIVISION 4 OF THE ST. LOUIS PARK ORDINANCE CODE ENTITLED, "DUTIES OF LICENSEE, DISPLAY OF LICENSE." THE CITY OF ST. LOUIS PARK DOES HEREBY ORDAIN: Section 1. That section 2:11 subdivision 4 of the St. Louis Park Ordinance Code adopted October 6, 1958 is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 2:11 Duties of Licensee (4) Display of License . Post and maintain the license issued to him upon the licensed premises in a place where it may be seen at all times; and, further, if the license is for operation or use in connection with any vehicle, food vending machine, cigarette vending machine, pinball machine, childrens' amusement device, mechanical amusement device, or other amusement device, the tag or other license insignia issued for that purpose shall be affixed and kept affixed to each vehicle, food vending machine, cigarette vending machine, pinball machine, childrens' amusement device, mechanical amusement device or other amusement device which is so licensed. Section 2. Penalty. Any person violating the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be punished by a fine of not more than three hundred dollars ($300..00) or by imprisonment for not to exceed ninty (90) dayy, or both. 7i Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication. Adopted by the City Council January 12, 1970. (6) Said news- paper files a copy of each issue immediately with the State Historical Society.
