ORDINANCE NO. 1087
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2:1305, ENTITLED
"FEES" OF THE ST. LOUIS PARK ORDINANCE CODE,
RELATING TO AMENDING FEES FOR ON -SALE INTOXICATING
LIQUOR LICENSES
THE CITY OF ST. LOUIS PARK DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That the Section 2:1305 of the St. Louis Park Ordinance
Code, entitled "Fees" shall be amended to read as follows:
Section 2:1305. Fees. Subd. 1. On Sale. The annual license
fee for an "on sale" license shall be four thousand dollars.
($4,000) payable in two equal installments in advance,
and a receipt for the first shall accompany the application for
issuance or renewal of the license; the second installment shall
be payable on or before the first day of July of each year. When
any "on sale' license is issued for an unexpired portion of a
license year, the fee shall be pro -rated and a receipt from the
City Treasurer for the portion of the license fee due shall
accompany the application, provided the minimum thereof shall be
two thousand dollars ($2,000).
Failure to pay the second installment of the license fee promptly
when due shall be cause for revocation of any "on sale" license,
without notice.
Subd. 2. Off Sale. The annual license fee for an "off sale"
license shall be Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00).
Subd. 3. Sunday Sales. The annual license fee for a special
"Sunday sale" license shall be Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00).
Subd. 4. Clubs. The annual fee for an "on sale" license issued
to a Club as authorized by Chapter 269, Laws 1961 Regular Session,
Minnesota Statutes, Section 340.11, Subd. 6, shall be One Hundred
Dollars ($100.00)
Subd. 5. Expiration Date. All licenses shall expire on the 15th
day of December each year.
Section 2. Effective Date. This ordinance shall take effect fifteen
days after its publication and shall apply to the license year commencing
December 15, 1969.

W JOHN BERTRAM, being duly sworn, on oath says he is and during all times here stated
has been the vice president and printer of the newspaper known as The St Louis Park Sun
and has full knowledge of the facts herein stated as follows (1) Said newspaper
is printed in the Engllsh language in newspaper format and in column and sheet form
equivalent in printed space to at least 900 square inches (2) Said newspaper is a weekly and
is distributed at least once each week. (3) Said newspaper has 50% of its news columns devoted
to news of local interest to the community which it purports to serve and does not wholly
duplicate any other publication and is not made up entirely of patents, plate matter and
advertisements (4) Said newspaper is circulated in and near the municipality which it purports
to serve, has at least 500 copies regularly dehvered to paying subscribers, has an average of
at ,least 75% of its total circulation currently paid or no more than three months in arrears
and, has entry as second-class matter in its local post -office. (5) Said newspaper purports to

ue in the City of Bloomington in said county, established and open during its regular business
urs for the gathering of news, sale of advertisements and sale of subscriptions and main-
tained by the managing officer or persons in its employ and subject to his direction and con-
trol during all such regular business hours and devoted exclusively during such regular
business hours to the business of the newspaper and business related thereto, (6) Said news-
paper files a copy of each issue immediately with the State Historical Society, (7) Said news-
paper has complied with all the foregoing conditions for at least two years preceding the day
or dates of publication mentioned below (8) Said newspaper has filed with the Secretary of
State of Minnesota prior to January 1, 1966 and each January 1 thereafter an affidavit in the
form prescribed by the Secretary of State and signed by the publisher of said newspaper and
sworn to before a notary public stating that the newspaper is a legal newspaper
