HomeMy WebLinkAbout1064 - ADMIN Ordinance - City Council - 1969/02/03Original FEBRUARY 3, 1969 7A ORDINANCE NO. 1064 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1043 PASSED OCTOBER 28, 1968, ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO AND REGULATING THE COLLECTION AND TRANSPORTATION OF GARBAGE AND REFUSE WITHIN THE CITY OF ST. LOUIS PARK, MINNESOTA BY PRIVATE GARBAGE AND REFUSE COLLECTORS THE CITY OF ST. LOUIS PARK DOES ORDAIN: Section 1. That Section 2:950, of Ordinance No. 1043, passed October 28, 1968 entitled "An Ordinance Relating To And Regulating The Collection And Transportation Of Garbage And Refuse Within The City Of St. Louis Park, Minnesota By Private Garbage And Refuse Collectors is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 2:950. Bond. No such collector's license shall take effect until the licensee shall file with the City Clerk a bond with corporate surety in form approved by the City Attorney in the penal sum of Three Thousand Dollars ($3, 000), conditioned that the licensee will pay any fines imposed upon him for violation of the provisions of the ordinance of the City, shall strictly comply with and do all things required by said ordinances, and will indemnify and hold the City, its officers and agents, harmless from any damage or claim resulting from or related to the collection of garbage and refuse by the licensee. Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect fifteen days after its publication. W JOHN BERTRAM, being duly sworn. on oath says he Is and during all times here stated has been the vice president and printer of the newspaper known as The St Louts Park Sun and has full knowledge of the facts herein stated as follows• (1) Said newspaper is printed in the English language in newspaper format and in column and sheet form equivalent in printed space to at least 900 square inches (2) Said newspaper is a weekly and is distributed at least once each week. (7) Said news- paper has complied with all the foregoing conditions for at least two years preceding the day or dates of publication mentioned below.
