AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING CONVEYANCE BY THE CITY OF ONE-HALF INTEREST IN LOTS 2 AND 15, TEMPLE'S GARDEN LOTS TO VILLAGE OF MINNETONKA THE CITY OF ST. LOUIS PARK DOES ORDAIN: Section 1. That the City has acquired Lots 2 and 15, Temple's Garden Lots for all municipal purposes including but not limited to park purposes by purchase proceedings. Section 2. That the City of St. Louis Park and the Village of Minnetonka are planning a joint operation of the park and programs thereon on a basis of equality as evidenced by a contract between St. Louis Park and Minnetonka. Section 3. As a part of such arrangement and payment to the City of St. Louis Park of the sum of $12, 500. 00, being one-half of the purchase price thereof, St. Louis Park is to convey a one-half interest in such lands by a quit claim deed to the Village of Minnetonka. Section 4. That the Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized on behalf of the City to execute and deliver a quit claim deed on behalf of the City conveying to the Village of Minnetonka the land above described upon payment to the City of the amount of $12,500.00. Section 5. That the proceeds above mentioned shall be returned to the sources from which they were taken. Section 6. This ordinance shall take effect fifteen days after its publication. County of Hennepin SS.
