ORDINANCE NO. 1026
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING SALE BY THE CITY OF
PROPERTY LOCATED AT PRINCETON AVENUE AND
OXFORD STREET NORTH OF WEST 36th STREET TO
BELT LINE INDUSTRIAL PARK
THE CITY OF ST. LOUIS PARK DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. It is hereby determined that the following described lands
in the City of St. Louis Park, County of Hennepin, Minnesota:
Those parts of Lots 13, 15; 16, Block 2, Westmoreland Park,
according to the recorded plat thereof, lying northwesterly of
the southwesterly extension of that particular southeasterly line
of Lot 1, Block 2, Belt Line Industrial Park 2nd Addition, according
to the recorded plat thereof, said particular southeasterly line
bears south 29 degrees, 29 minutes and 30 seconds west from the
most easterly corner of said Lot 1, in the City of St. Louis Park
according to the plat thereof on file and of record in the office of the Register
of Deeds of Hennepin County, title to which is now in the City of St. Louis Park,
is no longer needed for the public purposes for which it was acquired and it is
in the best interests of the City that same be sold.
Section 2. It is hereby determined that the reasonable fair market value
of said property is Five Thousand Eight Hundred Eighty-five Dollars ($5,885.00).,
Section 3. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized in behalf of
the City to execute a Quit Claim deed for the sale and conveyance of said premises
to Belt Line Industrial Park, Inc. for the sum of Five Thousand Eight Hundred
Eighty-five Dollars ($5,885.00) to be delivered upon receipt of said purchase
price in full.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall Lake effect fifteen days after its publication.

W JOHN BERTRAM, being duly sworn, on oath says he is and during all times here stated
has been the vice president and printer of the newspaper known as The St Louis Park Sun
and has full knowledge of the facts herein stated as follows (1) Said newspaper
is printed in the English language in newspaper format and in column and sheet form
egwvalent in printed space to at least 900 square inches (2) Said newspaper is a weekly and
is distributed at least once each week (3) Said newspaper has 50% of its news columns devoted
to news of local interest to the community which it purports to serve and does not wholly
duplicate any other publication and is not made up entirely of patents, plate matter and
advertisements (4) Said newspaper is circulated in and near the municipality which it purports
to serve, has at least 500 copies regularly delivered to paying subscribers, has an average of
at least 75% of its total circulation currently paid or no more than three months in arrears

ve the City of St Louis Park in the County of Hennepin and it has its known office of

trol during all such regular business hours and devoted exclusively during such regular

paper files a copy of each issue immediately with the State Historical Society. (7) Said news-
paper has complied with all the foregoing conditions for at least two years preceding the day
' or dates of publication mentioned below. (8) Said newspaper has filed with the Secretary of
State of Minnesota prior to January 1, 1966 and each January 1 thereafter an affidavit in the
form prescribed by the Secretary of State and signed by the publisher of said newspaper and
sworn to before a notary public stating that the newspaper is a legal newspaper

hereto attached as a part hereof was cut from the columns of said newspaper, and was printed
and published therein in the Enghsh language, once each week. for .1s successive weeks,
