HomeMy WebLinkAbout1001 - ADMIN Ordinance - City Council - 1967/07/10Original ORDINANCE NO. 1001 AN ORDINANCE VACATING ALLEY THE CITY OF ST. LOUIS PARK DOES ORDAIN: Section 1. It is hereby determined that the City Council by,its Resolution No. 3295 has initiated on its own motion, alley vacation proceed- ings with respect to the alley hereinafter described, and the Clerk having published notice in the official City newspaper, the St. Louis Park Dispatch, on June 8, 1967, as directed by the Council, and the City Council having met at the time and place as published in said notice and having conducted a public hearing on said vacation and having determined that said Alley is not needed for public purposes, and that it is for the best interests of the public that said Alley be vacated. Section 2. The following described alley, as now dedicated and laid out within the corporate limits of the City of St. Louis Park, is hereby vacated: That part of the east -west alley in Block 2, Westmoreland Park as dedicated in the recorded plat thereof, lying westerly of the southwesterly extension of that particular southeasterly line of Block 2 which bears south 29 degrees, 29 minutes and 30 seconds west, in Belt Line Industrial Park 2nd Addition, according to the recorded plat thereof. Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby instructed to prepare a Notice of Completion containing a copy of this ordinance and to file the same for record forthwith in the office of the Register of Deeds or Registrar of Titles, in and for the County of Hennepin, Minnesota, as the case may be. Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect fifteen days after its publication. Adopted by the City Council T: y 10, 1967. JOHN BERTRAM, being duly sworn, on oath says he is and during all the times herein stated has been the general manager and printer of the newspaper known as The St Louis Park Dispatch and has full knowledge of the facts herein stated as follows (1) Said newspaper is printed in the English language in newspaper format and in column and sheet form equivalent in printed space to at least 900 square inches.
