J..., ORDINANCE NO. 985 OCTOBER I0, 1966 7A AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CONVEYANCE BY THE • CITY OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT 26TH STREET AND DAKOTA AVENUE TO INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 283 THE CITY OF ST. LOUIS PARK DOES ORDAIN: Section 1. It is hereby determined: (1) that the following described lands in the City of St. Louis Park, County of Hennepin, Minnesota: All that part of the east 427.4 feet of the southeast one-quarter of the northeast one-quarter (SE 1/4 of NE 1/4) of Section 8, Township 117, Range 21, lying southerly of the southerly right of way line of the Great Northern Railway, and westerly of a line drawn parallel with and thirty-three (33) feet westerly of the following described line: Beginning at the southeast of the southeast one-quarter of the northeast one-quarter (SE 1/4 of NE 1/4) of said Section 8;• thence north along the east line of said quarter -quarter, 123.0 feet; thence on a tangential curve to the left with a radius of 337.03 feet, delta angle 47 degrees 00 minutes for a distance of 276.47 feet; thence on a line tangent to last described curve for a distance of 107.0 feet; thence on a tangential curve to the right with a radius of 343.08 feet, delta angle, 32 degrees 30 minutes for a distance of 194. 61 feet; thence on a line tangent to last described curve for a distance of 76.0 feet and there terminating title to which is now in the City of St. Louis Park, is no lonter needed for the public purposes for which it was acquired and it is in the best interests of the City that same be conveyed; and (2) that no indebted- ness was incurred by the City for purchase of said property. Section 2. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized in behalf of the City to execute a warranty deed for the conveyance of said premises to Independent School District No. 283, providing that the District reimburse the City in the amount of $11,552.00 for the acquisition and development of suffi- cient land vett of Nelron Park to replace the area to be transferred for school purposes. Section 3.
