HomeMy WebLinkAbout952 - ADMIN Ordinance - City Council - 1965/10/04• • • • ORIGINAL REPLACEMENT ORDINANCE NO. 952 JANUARY 18, 1965 SA AN ORDINANCE. VACATING ALLLYS AND STREET THE. CITY OF ST. LOUIS MARK DOES ORDAIN: Section 1. It is hereby determined that the City Council by its Resolution No. 2735,1'has initiated on recommendation of the Planning Commission, street and alleys vacation proceedings with respect to the alleys and street hereinafter described, and the Clerk having published notice in the official newspaper, the St. Louis Park Dispatch, met at the time and place as published in said notice and having conducted a public hearing on said vacation and having determined that said alleys and street is not needed for public purposes, and that it is for the best interests of the public that said alleys and street be vacated. Section 2. The following described street and alleys, as now dedicated and laid out within the corporate limits of the City of St. Louis Park, is hereby vacated: The Tee alley (both the north -south and east -west legs) bounded by Natchez Avenue and Monterey Avenue, West 28th Street, and the abandoned right of way of the St. M. & M. railroad. The west 129 feet of the east -west alley between Monterey Avenue and Lynn Avenue parallel with and 125 feet north of West 28th Street. - Monterey Avenue from the north line of West 28th Street to a point 223 feet north. Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby instructed to prepare a Notice of Completion containing a copy of this ordinance and to file the same for record forthwith in the office of the Register of ,seeds or Registrar of Titles, in and for the County_ of Hennepin, Minnesota, as the case may be. 'v Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect fifteen days after its publication.
