ORDINANCE NO. 932
AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF ALLEY
THE CITY OF ST. LOUIS PARK DOES ORDAIN: -
Section 1. It is hereby determined that a petition in writing signed
by a majority of all of the owners of all -property abutting upon both sides
of the alley proposed to be vacated and a majority of all of the owners in
the entire block which contains the portion of alley hereinafter described,
has been duly filed with the City Clerk, requesting vacation of a portion of
said alley, and the City Clerk has furnished a copy of said petition to the
City Manager who has reported filing of same to the City Council, and the
Clerk has published notice in the official City newspaper, the St. Louis
Park Dispatch, on November 26, 1964, as directed by the Council and the
City Council has met at the time and place as published in said notice and
has conducted a public hearing on said petition and hereby determines that
said portion of alley is not needed for public purposes, and that it is for
the best interests of the public that said alley be vacated as petitioned.
Section 2. The following described length of alley, as now dedicated
and laid out within the corporate limits of the City of St. Louis Park, be
hereby vacated:
That part of the alley laid out and platted in Block
42, St. Louis Park Centre lying east of the west
line extended, Lot 10, Block 42, St. Louis Park
Centre not previously vacated.
Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby instructed to prepare a Notice
of Completion containing a copy of this ordinance and to file the same for
record forthwith in the Office of the Register of Deeds or Registrar of
Titles, in and for the County of Hennepin, Minnesota, as the case may be.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect fifteen days after its
publication.
