ORDINANCE NO. 920
AN ORDINANCE REGULATING SALES OF INTOXICATING
LIQUOR AND BEER TO MINORS
THE CITY OF ST. LOUIS PARK DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. Section 4:850. Definition. Alcholic beverage when used in
this ordinance, Sections 4:851 through 4:860 both inclusive,/shall mean any
malt, vinous, spirituous, fermented or distilled beverage -containing more
than one half of one percent of alcohol by volume.
Section 4:851. Minors not to Enter Licensed Premises. It
shall be unlawful for a minor to enter any premises licensed for the retail
sale of alcoholic beverages for the purpose of purchasing, or having served
or delivered to him or her, any alcoholic beverage.
Section 4:352. Minors Loitering or Remaining on Licensed
Premises. Persons heldinzliquor or beer licenses shall not permit any minor
to loiter or remain in the room where alcoholic beverages are being sold or
served, unless accompanied by his parent or legal guardian.
Section 4:853. Consumption by or Purchase for Minor on
Licensed Premises. It shall be unlawful for persons holding beer or liquor
licensee to permit a rninor to consume"and it shall be unlawful for any minor
to consume any alcoholic beverage on premises licensed for the retail sale of
alcohol beverages, and no person shall purchase, attempt to purchase, or
have another purchase for any minor any alcoholic beverage.
Section 4:854. Employment of Minors. It shall be unlawful
for any person to employ any person under 21 years of age in any rooms con-
stituting the place in which alcoholic beverages are sold at retail "on sale"
or "off -sale:"
Section 4:855. Sales and Deliveries Prohibited. It shall be
unlawful for any person to sell, deliver or furnish any alcoholic beverage for
any purpose to any person under the age of 21 years, nor shall any person
under 21 years of age receive delivery of such alcoholic beverage.
Section 4:355. Misrepresenting Age to Obtain Alcoholic
Beverage. It shall be unlawful for any person to misrepresent or mis-
state his or her age or the age of any other person for the purpose of inducing
any licensee or any employee of any licensee, to sell, serve or deliver any
alcoholic beverage to a minor.
Section 4:857. Furnish Alcoholic Beverages to Minors.
It shall be unlawful for any person, to sell, give, barter, furnish, or dispose
of, in any manner, either directly or indirectly any alcoholic beverage in any

quantity for any purpose, whatever, to any minor person.
Section 4:853. Procuring Alcoholic Beverage. It shall be
unlawful for any person to procure alcoholic beverages for the use of any
minor.
Section 4:859. Possession of Alcoholic Beverage by Minor.
It shall be unlawful for a minor to have in his pc;�session any alcoholic
beverage, at a place other than the household of his parent or guardian.
Section 4:860. Consumption of Alcoholic Beverage by
Minor. It shall be unlawful for a minor to consume any alcoholic beverage.
Section 2. Any person violating the provisions of this ordinance shall,
be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be punished by a fine
of not more than one hundred dollars or by imprisonment to -r -mot to exceed
ninety days.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect fifteen days after its
publication.
