LOUIS PARK ZONING ORDINLNCE" BY ADDING TO SECTIONS 6:201 IND 6:202, RF;L'TING TO APPLICITION, NOTICE, AND H:E. 1• RING ON V/ RILNCES. THE CITY OF ST. LOUIS PARK DOES : RDt•IN: Section 1. That Sections 6:201 and 6:202 of Ordinance No. 730, passed December 28, 1959, entitled, "St. Louis .77" -ark Zoning Ordinance" is hereby amended by adding Sections 6:201.2, 6:202.2eand 6:202. 3, which read as follows: Section 6:201. 2 Applications. All applications for variances shall be Initiated by t a petition of the :wner or owners of the property, shall be accompanied by a map or plat showing the lands proposed for variance and all lanes within one hundred fifty (150) feet of the boundaries of the property proposed for variance, together with the names and addresses of the owners of the Lands in such .rea as the same appear on the records of the County Auditor of Hennepin County. Section 6:202. 2. Notice. The City Council, upon receiving the recommendation of the Board of Zoning ppeals,-'respecting any proposed variance, or after sixty (60) days from the sub- mission thereof to the Board of Zoning Lppeals without a recommendation, shall consider the same, and if a majority of the Council are in favor thereof, nctico of a regular or special meeting, at which a -public hearing will be had thereon, shall be given by publication at least once in the official newspaper not less than ten (10) days and not more than thirty (30) days prior to said hearing, stating the time and place thereof, description of the property for which the, variance has been requested, and a general statement of the nature of the proposed variance. Not less than ten (10), nor more than thirty (30) days prior to said hearing, a copy -f said notice shall be mailed by the City Clerk to the owner ;f the property for which the variance is requested and to all owners of property situated within one hundred fifty (150) feet of the property for which the variance is requested, as the; names of such •wrne•rs appear on the records of the County Zudit:r, and addressed to the last known address as shown by said Luditor's Records. If attempt is made in good faith to mail all persons in the manner and at the times above provided, failure to mail one (1) or more through inadvertence shall not invalidate the proceedings. Pr: of of mailing shail be made by affidavit :f the persons mailing same: and shall be filed with the City Clerk. • • Section 6:202. 3 Hearinvs. t -t the time sat for the hearing, the City Council shall hoar arguments for ane- against said proposed variance, and may c.:ntinue said hearing from time to time not exceeding sixty (60) days from the original date specified in the notice hearing. Final vote on the proposed variance shall be takan within said sixty (60) days. Section 2.
