It is hereby determined that the City Council by its Resolution No. 2158 has initiated on its own motion, alley vacation proceed- ings with respect to the alley hereinafter described, and the Clerk having published notice in the official City newspaper, the St. Louis Park Dispatch, on September 20, 1962, as directed by the Council, and the City Council having mat at the time and place as published in said notice and having conducted a public hearing on said vacation and having determined that said alley is not needed for public purposes, and that it is for the best interests of the public that said alley be vacated. Section 2. The following described alley, as now dedicated and laid out within the corporate limits of the City of St. Louis Park, is herebj vacated: That portion of the alley in Block 47, Rearrangement of St. Louis Park according to the plat thereof on file and of record in the office of the Register of Deeds in and for Hennepin County, Minnesota lying East of the extension North across it of the West line of Lot 44, Block 47, of said Rearrangement of St. Louis Park and West of the West line of Wooddale Avenue, formerly Pleasant Avenue. Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby instructed to prepare a Notice of Completion containing a copy of this ordinance and to file the same for record forthwith in the office of the Register of Deeds or Register of Titles, in and for the County of Hennepin, Minnesota, as the case may be.
