It is hereby determined: (1) that Lots 1 to 13 inclusive, Block 2, excepting therefrom any part of said lots which may lie within the plats of St. Louis Park and Rearrangement of St. Louis Park; Lots 1 to 13 inclusive, Block 3, excepting therefrom any part of said lots which may lie within the plats of St. Louis Park and Rearrangement of St. Louis Park; Lots 1 to 12 inclusive, and Lots 14 to 24 inclusi-,e, Block o Lots 1 to 21 inclusive, Block 7; Block 8, Lotti 1 to 3 inclusive, Block 9; Lots 1 to 10 inclusive, Block 10; all in "Collins' Second Addition to St. Louis Park according to the recorded plat thereof on file and of record in the office of the Register of Deeds of Hennepin County, title to which is now in the City of St. Louis Park, is no longer needed for the public purposes for which it was acquired and it is in the best interests of the City that same be sold; and (2) that some inr:ebzedness was incurred by the City for purchase of said property. Section 2. It is hereby determined that the reasonable fair market value of said property is Four Hundred and Forte Thousand Dollars ($440, 000.00). Section 3. The Mayor and City Manage_ are hereby authorised in behalf of the City to enter into an earnest money contract with contract for deed and Warranty Deed attached now before the council for ;:he sale of said premises to Interstate Department Stores , Inc, a Delawz..:•e Corporation, for the sum of Four Hundred and Forty Thousand Dollars (Y ':40, 000.00) Twenty -Five Thousand Dollars ($25, 000.00) down payment as earnest money and Seventy -Five Thousand Dollars ($75, 000.00) December 1, 1951 and Three Hundred and Forty Thousand Dollars ($340, 000.00) November 30, 1962 without interest until after due and payable; - The -Mayor and -City Manager are further authorized to exec ute and deliver a contract for deed as of December 1, 1961 and Warranty D ; 3 a$ of November 30, 1962. Section 4. The proceeds of sale of the said land shall be paid into sp•. cL:l fund by the Treasurer• to be 'designated as "Municipal Building Rescrbc Fund". • Section 5.
