LOUIS PARK ORDINANCE CODE ENTITLED "APPLICATION FOR PERMITS - PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS THE CITY OF ST. LOUIS PARK DOES ORDAIN: Section 1. That the following section of the St. Louis Park Ordinance Code is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 5:107 (c) (c) Plans and Specifications. The applicant shall submit with each application for a building permit and at other times when required by the Building Inspector for enforcement of any provisions of this Code, two sets of complete plans and specifi- cations, showing all essential parts of the building and four (4) copies of a certified survey showing the location of other existing and proposed buildings on the premises. All such surveys shall be certified by a "Registered Land Surveyor", duly qualified by registration as required by Section 326. 02. Minnesota Statutes 1945 as amended. All such plans and specifications, except those hereinafter excluded, shall be prepared and signed by a "Registered Architect" or a "Registered Pro- fessional Engineer" duly qualified by registration as required by -Section-326.-02,--Minnesota-Statutes 1945, - as amended provided further that Plans and Speci- fications excluded shall be as follows: Single family or two (2) family dwellings regardless of cost; work costing $2, 000 or less, the cost of which is to be paid in whole or in part from public funds; all new construction work which both costs less than $20.000.00 and has 50, 000 cubic feet content or less, other than work which is to be paid for in whole or in part from public funds; minor alterations or remodeling to the structural, mechanical or=lcctrical elements where the original design concept is not changed; detailed • or shop plans required to be furnished by a contractor to a Registered Professional Engineer or Registered Architect. EXCEL TIONS: When authorized by the Building Inspector plans and specifications need not be sub- mitted for the following: (1) One-story buildings of Type V conventional wool -stud construction with an area not exceeding 600 square feet; (2) Group J, Division 1, occupancies of Type V. conventional wood- stud construction: (3) Small and unimportant work. Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect fifteen days after its publication.
