ORDINANCE NO. 767

AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF DAKOTA
AVENUE
THE CITY OF ST. LOUIS PARK DOES ORDAIN:

Section 1. It is hereby determined that the City Council by its Reso-
lution No. 1543 has initiated on its own motion, street vacation proceedings
with respect to the portion of street hereinafter described, and the Clerk having
published notice in the official City newspaper, the St. Louis Park Dispatch, on
December 1, 1960, as directed by the Council, and the City Council having met
at the time and place as published in said notice and having conducted a public
hearing on said petition and having determined that said portion of street is not
needed for public purposes, and that it is for the best interests of the public
that said portion of street be vacated.
Section 2. The following described portion of street, as now dedicated
and laid out within the corporate limits of the City of St. Louis Park, is hereby
vacated:
That portion of Dakota Avenue lying in the North-
west Quarter of Southwest Quarter (NW4 of SW4)
of Section 16 and Northeast Quarter of Southeast
Quarter of Section 17, Township 117, Range 21, des-
cribed as follows: Beginning at a point where a line
drawn parallel to, and 33. 0' west of west line of
Section 16 intersects the northwesterly property line
of Lake Street; thence northeasterly along said north-
westerly property line of Lake Street to a point of in-
tersection of the southwesterly property line of Wood -
dale Avenue extended; thence northwesterly a distance
of 34.25' to a point of curve to the right, with a central
angle 40 degrees. 00 feet and degree of curve 41. 519 degrees
and radius 138. 0' a distance of 96. 34' to a point on the said
line parallel to and 33. 0' west of said west line of Section
16; (Also known as west property line of Dakota Avenue)
thence southerly along said line to the point of beginning.
Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby instructed to prepare a Notice of
Completion containing a copy of this ordinance and to file the same for record
forthwith in the office of the Register of Deeds or Registrar of Titles, in and
for the County of Hennepin, Minnesota, as the case may be.

Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect fifteen days after its
publication.

as The St Louis Park Dispatch, and has full knowledge of the facts herein stated

ly made up of patents, plate matter and advertisements, has been circulated at and near its said
place of publication to the extent of 240 copies regularly delivered to paying subscribers, has been
entered as second class mail matter in local post office of its said place of publication, that there
has been on file In the office of the County Auditor of said county the affidavit of a person hav-
ing first hand knowledge of the facts constituting Its qualifications as a newspaper for publication
f legal notices, and.that its publishers have complied with all demands of said County Auditor
