HomeMy WebLinkAbout676 - ADMIN Ordinance - City Council - 1959/03/02• 2-23-59 Original ORDINANCE NO. 676 AN ORDINANCE VACATING PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT The City of St. Louie Park does ordain: [1 711 23 1959 Section 1. It is hereby determined that a petition in writing, stned by a majority of all of the owners, of all property abutting upon bot'i sides of the Public Utility Easement and a majority of owners of all prop( rty in the entire block which contains the Public Utility Easement hereinafter described, has been duly filed with the City Clerk, requesting vacation of said Public Utility Eas eanent, and the City Clerk has furnished a cspy' of said petition to the City Manager who has reported filing of same to the City Council, and the Clerk has published, notice in the official at/ news- paper, the St. Louis Park Dispatch, on February 12. 1959, as directed by the Council and the City Council has met at the time and place as published in said notice and has conducted a public hearing on said petition and hereby determines that said Public Utility Easement is not needed for public purposes, and that it is for the beet interests of the public that said Public Utility Easement be vacated as petitioned. Section 2. The following described length of the Public Utility Easement, as now dedicated and laid out within the corporate limits.of the City of St. Louis Park, be hereby vacated: Public Utility Easement on: The South 5 feet, except the East 20 feet thereof, of Lot 1, Block 3, and the Nort'.) 5 feet of Lot 5, except the East 5 feet thereof, Block 3, all in .Cedarwood Second Addition, according to the:maj or plat thereof on file and of record in the office of the .eginter of Deeds in and for Hennepin County, Minnesota. Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby instructed to prepare a Notice of Completion containing a copy of this ordinance and to file the cone for record forthwith in the Office of the Register of Deeds or Register of Titles in and for the County of Hennepin, Minnesota, as the cage may be.
