ORDINANCE NO. 663
AN ORDINANCE VACATING CERTAIN PORTIONS
OF FRANKLIN AVENUE, PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE,
SUMTER DRIVE, AND QUEBEC DRIVE
The City of St. Louis Park does ordains
Section 1, It is hereby determined that a petition in writing,
signed by a majority of the owners of property abutting upon both sidee of
the streets hereinafter described, has been duly filed with the City Clerk,
requesting vacation of said por°tiorsof etreets, and the City Clerk having
furnished a copy of said petition to the City Manager who has reported
filing of same to the City Council, and the Clerk having published notice
in the official City newspaper, the St. Louis Park Dispatch, on October 23,
1958, as directed by the Council, and the City Council having met at the
time and place as published in said notice and having conducted a public
hearing on said petition and having determined that said portions of streets
are not needed for public purposes, and that it is for tide best interests
of the public that said portions of streets be vacated as petitioned,
Section 2. The following described portions of streets, as now dedi®
gated ant within the corporate limits of the City of St. Louis Park*
be hereby vacated:
That portion of Franklin Avenue lying between Texas
Avenue and Pennsylvania Avenue; Penneylmania Avenue
between West 22nd Street and the North Line of the
Northwest Quarter (NW4) of Section Eight (8), Town-
ship 117, Range 21; and Sumter Drive between Franklin,
Avenue and Quebec Drive; and Quebec Drive between W'®eu 22nd
Street and Franklin Avenue.

all according to the plat of Westwood Hills Second Addition, on file and of
re -or^d in the office of the Register of Deeds of Hennepin County.
Section 3o The City Clerk is hereby instructed to prepare a Notion
of Comp`1etion containing a copy of this ordinance and to file the same for
record forthwith in the office of the Register of Deeds or Regisgrar of Titlen*
in and for the County of Hennepin, Minnesota, as the case may be.
Section e. This ordinance shall take effect fifteen days after itt
