ORDINANCE NO. 631
AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF
ZARTTipN AVF:NttE

The City of Ste Louis Park does ordain:
Section 1, It is hereby determined that a petition in writing, signed
by a majority of the owners of property fronting upon that portion of Zarthan
Avenue lying south of Cedar 'Lake Road and within Government Lots 7 and 8.
Section 4, Township 117, Range 21, has been duly filed with the City Clerk,
requesting vacation of said street, and the City Clerk has furnished a copy of
said petition to the City Manager and reported same to the City Council, and
the Clerk has published notice in the St. Louis Park Dispatch on October 17th,
1957, as directed by the Council, and the City Council has met at the time and
place as published in said notice and has conducted a public hearing on said
petition and hereby determines that it is for the best interest of the public that
said street be vacated as petitioned.
Section 2, The following described portion of that certain public
street of the City of St, Louis Park now described as Zarthan Avenue, within
the corporate limits of the City of St. Louis Park, as dedicated by deeds re-
corded in Book 712 of Deeds, Page 504, in the office of the Register of Deeds
of Hennepin County November 7th, 1912, is hereby vacated:

All that portion of Zarthan Avenue lying south of Cedar Lake
Road and north of the south line of Government Lots 7 and 8,
Section 4, Township 117, Range 21, the same being the west
16 feet of said Government Lot 8 south of Cedar Lake Road,
and the east 16 feet of said Government Lot 7 south of Cedar
Lake Road.
Section 3, This ordinance shall take effect fifteen days after its pub-

has been on file in the office of the County Auditor of said county the affidavit of a person hav-
ing first hand knowledge of the facts constituting its qualification as a newspaper for publication
