Huntington Avenue South lying north
of Cedar Lake Road as described in
Notice of Hearing puhlished June
3 and 10, 1981.
Mark 41ex1er, 2644 Glenhurst, said he was in favor of the project as
thP recent repair of potholes has made the surface e.ven worse, par-
ticularly after the weekend's heavy rains. He does not agree that
any improvement will make the alley a speedway and that he is concerned
with access to emergenc,y vehicles.
Earl Shaw, 2G49 Huntinton, said he opposes the improvement and that
rost of the other residents oppose it, too. Ne said that access was
not a problem to him ancl tlat the present condition of the alley was
'certainly a deterrent to speeding.
Dr. Warshawsky, 2616 (;l enhurst, sai d he consi dered the al 1 e,y to be
vi rtual 1y impassabl e. Fle sai d both he and hi s wi fe are doctors and
ease of access for emercency purposes is critical to them. He saici

of the residents in favor of the project.

stating i f i t i s improved, chi 1 dren who use the al 1 ey wi 11 be endanered

Bryant Ancierson, 2633 Huntington, said he loesn't want, need or use the
