President Pro Tem Hanks said he had requested the City Planner to make a brief synopsis of the report but that discussion on it would not be held that evening. Discussion will be at the next Council stud,v session. 9g. .�- __- -- __._ _ The City Planner said the report essentially was dividecl into two parts: one concerning Nighway 100 to I-94 v�ith a recomriendation fo r no additional interchanges west of Penn and the other pa rt dealinc� with desicln alter- natives. He said the essence of tfie report was the two recor�mendations to Comr�issioner of Transportation Braun of the Metropolitan Council as contained on page 36 of the report. He discussed briefly the formula of 1.77 persons per auto whi ch was used i n the devel opment of the nurr�er of NQ'� lanes and suggested that Council might want to look rnore closely at that formula. .
