ect and stated ihat he hoped the assessment hearings will be held as an-
nounced in the fall of 1982. He also expressed the hope that staff �vould
work with him to resolve certain problems particular to his property.

ancial assistance woulci help to defray the costs of running the carnival
rides v�hich were �uite expensive in 1980.
Mayor t•1c�uaid said that it would be appropriate to use Cable TV fran-
chise monies for this purpose.
It was r�oved by Councilman Ralles, seconded by Councilman Meland, to
appropriate �1,500 from Cable franchise funds to the Party in the Park.
Councilman Backes expressed concern that each year an increased amount
woulci be requested and suggested allocating a lower amount for this
year.
