Following Councilmen were present: Rose-lliary Griak Richard Graves Lyle Hanks district of St. ;Iso present were the City Clerk and City Assessor. SOARD} OF REVIEW Louis Park re -convened Chairman Hanks called the meeting to order and stated that the Board of Review of assessment district of St. Louis Park was convened for the purpose of reviewing and adjusting, if necessary, the property valuations of the City for the year 1975. i C_�SES The following cases came before the Board of Review and in each case the complainant was informed that the Board was meeting for the purpose of reviewing and adjusting, if necessary, the property valuations for the year 1975. Further, each complainant or his representative was requested to state the nature of his complaint, and to submit any information that would support his claim. Mr, Thompson was of the opinion his property was grossly overvalued by the City. He also stated the comparables submitted by the assessor were un- realistic inasmuch as they did not compare properties adjacent to or in his immediate areamarket value oz , He further stated that an increase in $10,950 or approximGtely 27% over the past two years was excessive, and that a more realistic value should be $42,787,50, Mr. Thompson informed the Board that he could not sell his property for $51,700 and that he based his conclusions on the following criteria, 1.
