VEHICLE ( REQUESTED BY COUNCILMAN DRUSKIN )
Councilman Druskin explained that Mr . Gullickson has a problem that should
be heard by Council and for which there should be an opportunity for dialogue .
Mr . Luverne Gullickson , 2616 Vernon Avenue , stated that he has a
sausage distributorship which requires his having a refrigerated truck parked
in his rear yard and which is larger than is permitted by City ordinance .
He explained that this refrigeration must be powered by electricity at night
and that parking it away from his home could cause a tremendous loss of
inventory if there should be a power failure .
The following persons were present stating they had no objection to the
truck being parked in this yard and urged Council to consider permitting
this situation to continue : Gertrude Erickson , 2600 Vernon Avenue ,
S . L. Ekstrand , 2604 Vernon Avenue ; Bob Lindberg , 2600 Webster Avenue ;
