A Special me the City Council was called to order by Mayor
Leonard Thiel at 3 : SS P . M .

The following Councilmen were present at roll call :
Murray Galinson
Richard Graves
Frank Howard
Richard Koch
Robert Reynolds I
Leonard Thiel
Also present were the City Manager , City Attorney , Police Captain ,
City Clerk and Acting Secretary , and Officers Voss , Linnell and
Harwood . Councilman James Heltzer arrived at 5 : 04 p . m .
The City Attorney cave a summary of the situation and explained that
the meeting was called as a hearing on revocation or suspension of
the on -sale and Sunday sales liquor licenses of Park Terrace Supper
Club , Inc . dba George ' s in the Park , 4700 Excelsior Boulevard , St .
Louis Park , Minnesota due to recent alleged violation of the intox -
icating liquor licensing ordinance involving minors .

oGeorge Schaumburg was present as spokesman for Park Terrace Supper
Club , Inc . Also present and representing Park Terrace Supper Club ,
r Inc . were attorneys Gerald Singer , ►,lilliam Geimer and William
McRostie and bartender Ernest llaletzki .
After consultation between representatives of the City , the Licensee ,
and their attorneys , it was stipulated and agreed that the factual
basis of
their
hearing with respect to the violation claimed by the
City would be based
uupon the documentary evidence to be presented
by the City Attorney to the City Council , consisting of the Notice
Of Hearing with proof of service attached , subpoenas with proof of
service attached certified copy o :1 a docket of the Hennepin Countyof
Municipal Court for hearings held in St . Louis Parlc , and a copy

After questioni . ig of Mr . Schaumburg and Mr . i11aletzki , by the Council
and City Attorney , a motion was made by Councilman Koc1i , seconded by
Council Howard , t . -, at the facts in fire case justify the City Council
to a consideration of the matter of a penalty . Motion passed by a
six yea vote . Councilman Heltzer was not present .
After further discussion by the City Council and statements by
representativest of Park Terrace Supper Club , Inc . , dba as Georges
in the Park , a motion was made by Councilman Reynolds , seconded by
Councilman Howard , to suspend the on - sale and Sunday Sales liquor
+ licenses and the premises licensed thereunder to be closed for all
purposes for five days during the period commencing November 27 ,
1960' and terminating December 1 , 1968 , both dates inclusive . Motion
passed by a vote of four yeas and three nays . Councilman Graves ,
Heltzer and Mayor Thiel voting nay .
Mayor Thiel declared the hearing closed at 5 : 32 p . m .
