On motion of Councilman Reynolds , seconded by Cov= U= an KOC14 Zha
minutes of the regular meeting held June 26 , 1967 were approved by a
four yea vote .

6 . PETITIONS , REQUESTS AND COMMUNICATIONS
(a ) COMMUNICATION FROM PARK TEEN SCENE , INC . REQUESTING
LICENSE TO OPERATE A DANCE CERTAIN EVENINGS OF THE
WEEK .
Mrs . Barbara Jacoby was present . It was moved by Councilman
Koch , seconded by Councilman Reynolds , to approve issuance of
a license to operate a dance on Tuesday , Thursday , Friday and
Saturday nights commencing July 18 , 1967 through August 19 , 1967 ,
Motion passed by a vote of four yeas and one nay , Councilman Thiel
voting nay .

Princeton Avenue to Ottawa Avenue ; on Ottawa Avenue from
West 27th Street to West 28th Street; on West 27th Street from
Quentin Avenue to Ottawa Avenue .
3 . No . 67 - 40 , sanitary sewer in Oxford Street from West 36th
Street to 1 , 300 feet north.
4 . No . 67 - 41 , water main in Oxford Street from West 36th Street
to 1 , 300 feet north .
Robert Schwinn , 4306 Alabama Avenue , John Rydell , 4244 Alabama
Avenue , and Harold Hodjkinson , 4200 Brunswick Avenue , were
present in opposition to Improvement No . 67 - 28 .
A motion was made by Councilman Reynolds , seconded by Council -
man Graves , to delete Improvement No . 67 - 28 from the scheduled
hearing . Motion passed by a five yea vote .
RESOLUTION NO. 3319

" Resolution Receiving Reports and Calling Hearing on Improve

Howard. White , 4112 Quentin Avenue , was interested in the status of
the storm sewer for the area . The City Manager stated the project
is being worked on by the three municipalities involved .
A motion was made by Councilman Reynolds , seconded by Council -
man Koch , to waive first reading of proposed ordinance conveying
lands in Yale Land Company ' s Garden Lots and William Scott ' s
Addition to Independent School District # 283 , and set date for second
reading July 17 , 1967 . Motion passed by a five yea vote .
(f ) REPORT OF LAND ACQUISITION BY CITY MANAGER .
Deed. for Lots 29 and 30 , Block 6 , The Bronx , dated June 28 , 1967
from Fred W . Hedberg Properties , Inc . and Jerwal , Inc . (parking
lot at 27th Street and Louisiana Avenue , Improvement No . 66 - 75 ) .
It was moved by Courzilman Reynolds , seconded by Councilman
Graves , to accept deed , authorize City Clerk to file same for record ,
and authorize payment of $ 20 , 315 . 81 . Motion passed by a five Yea
vote .
