August 9, 1966
CALL TO ORDER
The me eting was called to orde r by Mayor Kenneth W olfe at ?: 50 p. m.
ROLL CALL
The following Councilmen were present at roll call: Leonard Thiel, James
Heltzer, Kenneth W olfe, Richard, Koch and Curtis Pearson.
The following members of the Mayor's Library Committee were present:
Mas Matsumoto, Mra. Hy Brandwein, Mre. Jerome Kraehling, and ex
officio member, Mrs. Raeder Larson.
A1so present were the A.ssistant to the City Manager and the City Manager.
REPORT_
Councilman Pearson, chairman of the Mayor's Library Committee, presented
the written report of the committee to the City Council with an oral commen-
tary on the subject matter in the report.
There followed a general discussion concerning various aspects of the report
and the thinking of the committee in formulating conclusions and recommenda-
tions.
It was moved by Councilman Thiel, seconded by Councilman Koch, that the
City Manager contact architects interested in designing a library and from
those interested architects within a month select three or four to be inter-
viewed by the Council. Motion passed by five yea vote.
Mayor Wo2fe expressed appreciation on behalf of himself, the City Council,
and the people of St. Louis Park for the time and effort spent by the committee
members in making their report.
ADJOURNMENT
On motion of Councilman Thiel, seconded by Councilman . Kochy
