ROLL CALL The following Councilmen were present at roll call: James Heltzer Frank Howard Richard Koch Curtis Pearson Robert Reynvlds Leonard Thiel Kenneth W�olfe A1so present were the City Ivlanager, City Attorney, and Planning I}irector. CONSULTANT SERVICES FOR OFF-STREET PARKING ON EXCELSIOR BOULEVA_RD ��EFERRED FROM FEBRUA.RY 14, 1966� 11iir. James Hawks, representing Midwest Planning & Research, Inc. , Mr. E. C. Bather, representing Nason, Law, V�Tehrman & Knight, Inc. , and Mr. B. H. Rottinghaus, representing Howard, Needles, Tammen & Bergendoff, each presented a proposal for conducting a study of off-street parking facilities on Excelsior Boulevard. Mrs, Richard Kunz, 3976 Princeton Avenue, asked a number of questions concerning the parking problems and the proposed solutions. Mr. Orville R. Kreutziger, 5104 West 40th Street, commented that in his opinion the quality and completeness of the study project is more important than cost or "penny pinching". It was moved by Councilman Thiel, secondeci by Councilman Howard, that the City Manager communicate with cities that have been served by the con- sultants interviewed, concerning their reaction to the three firms. Motion pas s ed by a s even yea vote. It was moved by Councilman Pearson, seconded by Councilman Reynolds, that Paul Revere Lodge be contacted by the City Manager c4ncerning the library rental.
