Peter Storino, 3049 Natchez Avenue was present to oppose the rezoning. Zollie Saratz, 4321 West Z5th Street, spoke in favor oi•the reque$t. Mayor Wolfe declared the hearing closed. A motion was made by Councilman Howard, seconded by Councilman Reynoids, to return the request to Planning Commission for a study of the entire area, with the people of the area notified of the time for discus6ioa. Motion lost by a vote of one yea and six nays, Councilman Howard voti.ag yea. It wae moved by Councilman Heltzer, seconded by Councilman Kocb, to deny the request to rezone. After further discussion Councilman Koch withdrew his second. Councilman Thiel se�onded the motion. Motion lost. It was moved by Councilman Peareon, seconded by Councilmaa Reynolds, to waive first reading of proposed ordinance as recom» mended by Planning Commiesion, and set date for second read.ing November 21, 1966. Motion passed by a vote of five yeas and two n ays, Councilmen Thiel and Heltzer voting nay. 6.
