CALL TO ORDER A regular meeting of the City Council was called to order by Mayor Kenneth irVolfe at 8:07 p. m. 2. INVOCATION Invocation was given by Councilman Howard. 3. ROLL CALL The following Councilmen were present at roll call: Jame s Hreltze r Frank Howard Richard Koch Robert Reynolds Leonard Thiel Kenneth Wolfe Also present were the City Manager, Director of Public Works, Assessor, and Secretary. 4. MINU TES Qn motion of Councilman Heltzer, seconded by Councilman Howard, the minutes of the regular meeting held September 19, 1966 and budget meet- ings held September 19, 1966 and September 28, 1966 were approved by a six yea vote. 5. PUBLIC HEARINGS (a} IMPROVEMENT NO. 65-45A, PROPOSED STORM SEWEi� FOR COBBLECREST OUTLET, AS DESCRIBED IN NOTICE OF HEAR- ING PUBLISHED SEPTEMBER 1, 1966 AND SEPTEMBER 29, 1966. Donald Burke, Z901 Independence Avenue, presented a petition signed by residents in the area against the Cobblecreat storm �ewer. He requested a postponement of the hearing for two weeks. It was moved by Councilman Heltzer, seconded by Councilman Thiel, to defer the hearing until October 17, 1966. Mrs. Goldman, 3916 West 28th Street, asked when the repair work would be done. George Devins, Z$40 Ottawa Avenue, was concerned with the assessment of properties in the area. Niss Evelyn Raymond, 4501 West 3ath Street, question�d the assessment of her property. Chester Bruvold, attorney for Mr. and Mrs. .A.nthony Peterson, 4031 Excelsior Boulevard, was concerned with the problem of a retaining wall and sidewalk in front of their home. Mayor Wolfe declared the hearing closed. RESOLUTION NO. 3132 It was moved by Gouncilman Reynolds, seconded by Councilman Heltzer, to waive reading and adopt Resolution No. 3132 entitled "Resolution Adopting Assessment." It was moved by Councilman Reynolds, seconded by Councilman Howard, to dcsignate Suburban Chevrolet Company as the lowest responsible bidder for a 27, 500 GVV1 truck cab and chassis and to accept bid in the amount of $5, 067. 27.
