Councilman Heltzer was concerned with the effect the above
rezoning might have on the surrounding area and proposed that
the Council explore the possibility of the extension of Louisiana
Avenue. Councilman heltzer macie a motion, seconded by
Councilman Thiel, that the matter of upgrading Louisiana Avenue
and any problems in connection with it be discussed by the Council
highway Committee. Motion passed by a six yea vote.

vendors were approved, and the City Nanager, City Clerk, and
City Treasurer were authorized to issue checks covering same
