MINUTES On motion of Councilman Howard, seconded by Councilman Reynolds, the minutes of the regular meeting� held December 3, 1965 and November 29, 1965 were approved by a five yea vote. Cherne, Anderson Cherne Inc. , asked for consid_eration oi a left turn opening to tt�e Cadillac property, 5100 �.,xcelsior Boulevard. Mrs. F. D. Peterson, 4031 Excelsior Boulevarc�,asked if there would be parking on t�ze boulevarc'. and was told t�lere would be parallel parking. She was also conc�rn�d about alley tra3fic. 3VIr. tZalph Fine, 4813 Excelsior Boulevard,was oppos�d to curb ancl gutter which would eliminate con- siderable parking in front of his store. Zelbe, owner oi property at 4304-06 Exc�lsior Boulevard, questioned the control of traffic on �r'�est 36z Street, and was told the median strip will be solid at that point. On motion of Councilman Ehrenberg, seconded by Councilman Thiel, the lists of verified claims prepared by the Director of Finance and presented to the Council dated December 13, 1965 in the total amounts of $983. 82 for payroll, and $55, 249. 05 for vendors were approved, and the City Manager, City Clerk, and City Treasurer were author- ized to issue checks covering same by a six yea vote. Amount, $8, 081. 19. 2. Partial Payment No. 3 for general construction of Fire Station No. 1. Contractor, Berglund-Johnson, Inc. Amount, $11, 862. 90. On motion of Councilman Ehrenberg, seconded by Councilman Howard, the above payments on contract work presented by the City Engineer were approved, and the City Manager, City Clerk, and City Treasurer were authorized to issue checks for their respec- tive amounts by a six yea vote. 3.
