A regular meeting of the City Council was called to order by Mayor
Kenneth Wolfe at $:10 p. m.
2. INVOCATION
Invocation was given by Rev. Paul �benauf of the Wooddale Lutheran
Church.

Pow-Bel offered to purchase 5, OONf� of sand and gravel now
stored on that part of Monterey Avenue from the north line of 28th
Street to a point 350 feet north. A motion was made by Council-
man Reynolds, seconded by Councilman Howard. to accept the offer
for sale of sand and gravel and authorize the Mayor and City Manager
to execute the bill of sale. Motion passed by a seven yea vote.
It wae moved by Councilman Pearson, seconded by Councilman
Reyn olde, to accept deed for utility easement in connection with
Monterey Addition from Pow-Bel Construction Company, dated
October 4, 1965 for the north ten feet of Lot 26, Block 3, Barrett's
Addition to Minneapolis, and authorize the City Clerk to fi3e same
for record. Motion passed by a seven yea vote.

AVENUE.
Mr. Sanford Rosen, 2245 Pennsylvania Avenue, was present
representing the residents in the area of 22nd Street and Fennsylvania
Avenue, to inform the Council of their storm drainage problem.
Councilman Pearson gave an oral report on the Basaett's Creek
watershed problem.

be the extension of the northeast storm sewer project to Cedar
Lake Road and Louisiana Avenue.

bility of an outlet between Texas Avenue and Oregon Avenue for
draining of the area, and that the City Attorney report on the City's
rights of discharge into Golden Valley. Motion passed by a seven
