CA.LL TO ORDER A regular meeting of the City Council was called to order by Mayor Kenneth W�olfe at 8:04 p. m. 2. INVOCA'I'ION Invocation was given by Rev. John Foes of the Peace Presbyterian Church. 3. ROLL CA.LL The following Councilmen were present at roll call: James Heltzer Frank Howard Curtis Pearson Robert Reynolds Kenneth Vl�olfe Also present were the City Manager, City Attorney, Planning Director, Director of Public Works, and the Secretary. 4. MINUTES On motion of Couacilman Pearaon, aeconded by Councilman Howard, the minutee of the regular meeting held October 4, 1965 were approved by a five yea vote. Councilmen Ehrenberg and Thiel were not present. 5. A motion was made by Councilman Pearson, seconded by Council- man Reynolds, that staff submit in writing a report to Council on November 15, 1965 regardin� various parcels that are available for parks, including staff recomrnendations with regard to the Ecklund & Swedlund area. A motion was made by Councilman Reynolds, seconded by Council- man Pearson, to file claim with the City Clerk for proper action by the City Manager and City Attorney. Motion passed by a five yea vote. 12. CL,A.LMS, A.PPROPRIATIONS AND CONTRACT PA�MENTS _ - (aj VERIFIED CLAIMS. On motion of Councilman Heltzer, seconded by Councilman Howard, the lists of verified claims prepared by the I}irector of Finance and presented to the Council dated October 18, 1965 in the total amounts of $1, 584. 68 for payroll, and $41, 76Z. 07 for vendors were approved, and the City Manager, City Clerk, and City Treasurer were author- ized to issue checks covering same by a five yea vote. (bj CONTRACT PAYMENT. 1. Partial Payment No. 1 for Fire Station No. l. Contractor, Berglund-Johnson, Inc. , General Construction. Amount, $?, 907. 40. On motion of Councilman Howard, seconded by Councilman Pearson, the above payment on contract work presented by the architeCt was approved, and the City Manager, City Clerk, and City Treaeurer were authorized to issue a check, by a five yea vote. 13.
